Segunda p-day nesta transferéncia aqui no Ribeirão‏ March 16, 2015

Hey there!

Hopefully this will be my last p-day here in Ribeirão Preto for this transfer because we are super duper tired of waking up at 4 in the morning just to come here for a day. Well, this time we are staying for two days. Don't worry mom, nothing is wrong with me. Sister Sena has an eye doctor appointment because she has been having crazy headaches and her eyes hurt like crazy so we are going to the eye doctor tomorrow. Woohoo! All is well though. We are going to be sleeping in our old apartment tonight. Weird!

Anyway, things are going just swimmingly in Araraquara. I love it more and more every day there. It is super cool to be a missionary with work to do. Wow. What a difference it makes when you actually have lessons to teach!

I guess I have some people to tell you all about now. Cool! We finally have investigators! I will tell you about Olga first. She is an awesome older lady that has a big smoking problem. Like one cigarette every 20-30 minutes. Crazy stuff. She is trying super hard to change, and we are going to bring some brothers from the ward to give her a blessing. She is seriously so awesome. We were teaching her the other day, and she straight up told us that she had a friend that she thought would like us to visit--we didn't even ask--and then she walked us to her friend's house after the lesson. Her friend is now an investigator. She is a sweet old widdow named Naida and we are working on building her faith right now because the loss of her husband really took a toll on her. That's just the start. I can't even believe it here. We had a few days with 5 lessons. There were weeks in Irajá where we didn't have even one lesson during the week.

We just got a new ward mission leader too, so we are super excited to get this ward pumped. We are going to do activities, and get lots of help from them. There are lots of young men that are super stoked to serve missions, so we are going to use that to get the whole ward excited. I am so excited to work here (well today it's technically there) in Araraquara.

Hey, the work goes forward. Always. The Lord will not let us down as we do our very very best to spread the joy and blessings of the gospel with the entire world. The light is growing brighter every minute, and we have the privelege to add to that light. This gospel is truly the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and we can receive blessings from it each and every day.

Com todo meu amor!
