Semana sem números, mas com muitos milagres‏ February 9, 2015

Hey there everyone!

Hope all is going well with all of you. This last week has been crazy. We had our interviews with President Brum, and our area was FINALLY redivided. It has been a pain not knowing whose area was whose, and we finally just got done with it. It was absolutely ridiculous, and now we don't have to worry about that. With all that commotion, we didn't have very many lessons, but we are starting new this week. New with the ward, new with the area, and new everything. We really just were needing a new start because this last transfer has been kind of a screeching halt nightmare as far as "the work" according to numbers goes here.

We did have one amazing miracle that left us yesterday. Maria José left to go back home to the northeast much sooner than she had originally anticipated. We are so sad that she left, but so incredibly happy that we met her. She knows without a doubt that the gospel is true, and she is going to search out which city closest to her has a church, because her city doesn't have one. We left her with passalong cards, an extra Book of Mormon, one of each of the pamphlets of the lessons, and the restoration DVD to share with others and with directions on how to contact missionaries/find a church building. She was so excited, but incredibly sad to leave so soon. It will continue to be a miracle in that city and in ours. We think that her daughter will start to accept the lessons, and who knows where that will go from there. We absolutely love their family, and are so excited to continue sharing with them the best we can.

Carnival is this week, and our area is already crazy. We literally had to stay inside all day yesterday. After church, we had lunch, went to see Maria José before she left, then went home to do language study and training. After that we tried to go out, but returned home after 5 minutes. It was already crazy. There was a carnival party super close to our house, and everyone was drunk, on drugs, or something else, and there were tons of people. That is going to be this whole week though. And Carnival isn't technically until the 14th this week. Yikes!

I love you all and know that this work does roll forward.

Com amor,
Sister Jensen

ps. the package was AWESOME mom
