This week was super great, still hard, but absolutely amazing!
We have had lots, and I mean lots of struggles in our area, and with our ward lately, but the Lord knows us and His work moves forward. We were almost feeling out of luck, like we couldn't help this area any more, when we suddenly encountered miracle after miracle. We fasted with our district leader this past week for our ward and for our area in particular. Let me tell you, our leaders here are absolutley amazing. After our fast, man, the windows of heaven opened. We found our investigator Luana at home again, which is super hard to do, and she still is kind of lukewarm and doesn't want to act, but she wants us to keep coming, which is progress from the last time. We also encountered a lady in the street that is from the same state as Sister Beserra, and we have been teaching her a little bit (just because we just met her) and wow. The Spirit was ridiculously strong in that lesson. She immediately accepted baptism. Maria José. What a miracle she was. When people like her are prepared and really want to know, the Lord will do anything to put them in our paths. She is here visiting her daughter to help for a few months because her daughter is pregnant and has lots of difficulties with her health because of that. It was a miracle that we met her here because the church isn't in her city yet. Wow. How cool is that? I know for sure that miracles happen.
That was pretty much the highlight of the week. It's still hot, so no new news there, but let me tell you, the church really is restored. This IS the Lord's work and NOTHING can stop it from going forth.

We were out at a mall kind of by our house today, and you could see
the countryside thing from there. Isn't it gorgeous!
