After last week's email, I will try to sound a little more enthusiastic about the work here. In all truth, things are just getting harder, but we saw several miracles yesterday that kind of gave us a second wind of sorts. While in sacrament meeting, the bishop announced that we really will have the activity that he basically told us last week wouldn't happen. WOOHOO! We are so excited about that. And, the bishop's mom, one of the coolest ladies ever, has been fighting so hard for us to get that activity to happen, and told us yesterday that we will have at least one activity every month. What an answer to our prayers! She has truly been a miracle for us. We love our Irmã Lúcia! We saw another amazing miracle yesterday too. The family of less actives that we have been working with came to church for the second Sunday in a row (whoot!) and the dad received a calling as the second counselor in the Elder's Quorum. We are seriously blessed because of this gospel.
In other news, we also had a lady from an English school here call us this morning and basically is having us come and help each day this week! Service projects! And, this week we have transfers. We will find out Friday night where we are going, so mom, if I don't email next week on Monday, it's because I was transferred to the other side of the mission and didn't have any time to email, but we obviously don't know what will happen just yet. Other crazy news about transfers, Sister Sena was emergency transferred this last Thursday. She was transferred to Araraquara, which is about an hour away from here. She went to get to know the area because both of the sisters that were serving there are going home this transfer. One of those sisters is here with Sister Andersen now until this Thursday night when Sister Sena and her companion come here for interviews and stuff to be here in Ribeirão to leave to go home. At that point, Sister Sena and Sister Andersen will be companions for that weekend until transfers. Super cool!
