Semana da Chuva!‏ June 1, 2015

Hi there from wet, beautiful Araraquara.

It has rained quite a bit here this week, and we did quite a bit of walking in the rain, so I have been happy as ever. It is funny to see everyone freak out and offer us umbrellas all the time when its raining, but that's all good. We happen to always have our umbrellas when it's not raining, but not have them when it is. Anyway, super good stuff.

We have had a great week with our investigators. Patrícia and Alex and their family are doing awesome! They still haven't gone to church again yet, which is no fun, but they will. I know they will. It is just a little hard when every week, someone in their family is sick. They are an absolutley wonderful family, and I love them lots and lots.

We are also teaching a young man named Fernando and his parents. He is super interested and is looking for the light that the gospel brings to help him turn his life around. It is amazing to see the hope that the gospel brings into people's lives when they let that small seed grow into something bigger. We only just started teaching them, so stay in tuned for more stories in the weeks to come.

Other than that, um...life's pretty normal around here. I am still playing the piano in relief society and in sacrament meeting, but, I might start to teach a little class each week to help the sisters of the ward learn how to lead the music, because a lot of them want to learn. That would be cool, and a good oportunity to help the ward.

I love it here, I love the gospel, and I know that through the thick and thin of life, the Savior is ALWAYS by our side.

Love you guys!
Sister Jensen
